This is the run down of events:

TUESDAY, MAY 6, 2014:

Kick off Columbus Bicycle Week
Join Ride on Bikes as they kick off Bicycle Week in Columbus.
6:15 p.m.
Uptown Columbus (1000 Block on Broadway Main Stage)


National Ride of Silence
Join fellow cyclists as they ride to honor those that we've lost in a bicycle or pedestrian accident. The ride begins at 7 p.m. at the Lakebottom Park band shelter and will be police escorted. There will be a post-event gathering with free food.

FRIDAY, MAY 9, 2014: National Bike to Work Day, Ride with Mayor Tomlinson and closing Bike Week with the RiverFest Concert Uptown!
6:30-9 a.m.
: Bike to Work Day Energizing stations open at the following locations:

     - Fall Line Trace rest stop on Talbotton Road across from Hannan Elementary School.
     - Lake Bottom Park, in front of the tennis court parking lot.
     - Riverwalk at Oxbow Meadows Environmental Learning Center.

6 p.m.: Third Annual Ride with Mayor Tomlinson
Join Mayor Teresa Tomlinson as she closes Bicycle Week and Bike to Work Day in Uptown Columbus. Ride will be police escorted. Helmets required. Bicycles available for rent at Ride on Bikes.

The route will begin and end at Woodruff Park, Uptown Columbus - 5 mile route - map
Begin at Woodruff Park, toward 13th Street, to 18th Avenue, to 17th Street, to Linwood Boulevard, to 15th Street, to 14th Street and back to Broadway.

6:45 p.m.: Join Mayor Tomlinson, fellow cyclists and local citizens for the Annual Bike to Work Day Block Party in conjunction with the Uptown RiverFest Concert. Drinks, food, FREE GIVEAWAYS, and live music.
