We invite you to join us for an entire week of  of cycling fun and advocacy as we celebrate Bike to Work Week, May 11-15, 2015. Below is the schedule for the week.


Tuesday, May 12 - Ride with the Mayor

The annual Ride with the Mayor will begin at 6 p.m. in uptown Columbus and is being held in conjunction with Ride On Bikes' weekly Tuesday Night Ride. Meet at the 1000 Block of Broadway. Free bicycle rentals will be available and the ride will be police escorted. Following the ride there will be a special presentation at The Loft.


Wednesday, May 13 - Ride of Silence

This ride is held in memory of those lost due to a bicycle accident.  Meet at 6 p.m. at the the Columbus Museum on Wynnton Road. The ride will be police escorted. Following the ride there will be celebration of life and the kick-off for a safety campaign focusing on the 3-foot passing law to ensure bicycles and cars can safely pass each other. Maltitude will be serving craft beer.


Friday, May 15 - Bike to Work Day

Energizing stations will be open from 6:30 to 9 a.m. at the Fall Line Trace Manchester Expressway park and ride and on the Riverwalk by the Oxbow Meadows restroom facilities.
