Stewart County

Stewart County is home to a variety of easily accessible cultural and natural attractions.  The county seat of Lumpkin contains several National Register-listed historic districts, and is home to the Historic Westville living history museum, the Bedingfield Inn Museum, and Dr. Hatchett's Drug Store Museum.  Nearby Richland also contains a National Register historic district and railroad museum in the recently restored depot.  Providence Canyon State Park is located just west of Lumpkin, and Florence Marina State Park is located at the Chattahoochee River's entrance into Lake Walter F. George.  Click on the map to the left to explore cycling and pedestrian facilities and points of interest in Stewart County.
