Historic Talbotton, the county seat, boasts a historic district and several
buildings listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The
Flint River forms the county's northeastern boundary and flows through the
Big Lazer Creek Wildlife Management Area and nearby
Sprewell Bluff State Park.
